The two FCM players of Bilbao Dimitris Mavroeidis (photo) and Kostas Vasileiadis took the Basque team by the hand and lead them to their first ever win in Euroleague's Top16. Vasileiadis fired 19 points to lead the scoring, whereas Mavroeidis dominated the paints with an impressive double double (11 points, 11 rebounds, 1 block) to help their team into an easy win against Malaga with 85-70. This was Bilbao's first win in the Top16 after 2 games and their hopes for qualification are very much alive.
