FCM power forward Arturs Berzins stepped up for Ventspils as they were facing elimination from the finals of the Latvian league and with 20 points and 7 rebounds lead his team into breaking Liepaja's home and tieing the series to 1-1. The 23-year old Latvian international had an amazing day with 4/4 3pts and 3/4 2pts to lead Ventspils, despite the superb effort from FCM small forward Janis Timma who scored 20 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 33 minutes.
